This role serves as a key connection point between Project Management, Program Management, Estimating, Pre-Construction, subcontractors, installation crews, Superintendents, customers, and municipal contacts. The Field Manager provides oversight across active job sites, supports field planning and execution, conducts site visits and audits, and ensures field teams have the guidance, materials, documentation, and resources needed to complete projects on time, on budget, and with minimal punch list items. This role is hands-on, highly collaborative, and critical to maintaining strong field performance across complex exterior signage programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support field execution for exterior signage projects by coordinating site activities, installation requirements, schedules, materials, field resources, and project documentation.

  • Conduct site visits, surveys, installation inspections, vendor meetings, quality audits, and signage audits to ensure work is completed in accordance with customer expectations, approved scope, safety standards, and company requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Program Managers, Estimating, Pre-Construction, Operations, and Field Leadership to review project scope, drawings, schedules, risks, installation plans, and field readiness.
  • Develop, maintain, and reinforce field checklists, site survey standards, installation guidelines, documentation requirements, and best practices for exterior signage projects.
  • Monitor field progress through regular check-ins, site visits, reporting tools, daily surveys, photos, and project tracking systems to identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Support project closeout by confirming job completeness, punch list resolution, site demobilization, rental and dumpster removal, cleanliness, documentation, and customer readiness.
  • Mentor and train Superintendents and field teams by providing technical guidance, performance feedback, safety reinforcement, and support for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in field management, construction supervision, signage installation, general contracting, superintendent work, or a related field-based construction role.
  • Strong knowledge of exterior signage installation methods, site surveys, field coordination, construction sequencing, and quality control.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, surveys, installation documentation, and project scopes.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, installation crews, vendors, Superintendents, or other field resources across multiple active projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and municipal contacts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track project details, document field activity, and support deadline-driven work.
