Job Summary: The Business Process Specialist plays a central role within the Business Process Management Office (BPMO), ensuring the organization maintains clear, accurate, and compliant processes across all functions. This role is responsible for governing enterprise SOPs, supporting process improvement initiatives, partnering with training teams to ensure consistency, and serving as a liaison to IFS Super Users and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong documentation skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

Process Documentation & Governance

  • Own, govern, and maintain all enterprise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct recurring audits of SOPs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adoption.
  • Utilize process mapping technology (e.g., Celonis) to document, improve, and validate processes.
  • Partner with People & Culture and team trainers to maintain standardized and role‑based training documentation.

Process Improvement & Support

  • Participate in evaluating, improving, and implementing process changes across the organization.
  • Provide triage and support for process-related and non‑technical system issues.
  • Serve as the BPMO liaison to the organization’s IFS Super Users, ensuring process questions are addressed promptly.
  • Support change management activities related to process updates, training rollout, and system adjustments.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs related to training effectiveness, process adherence, and SOP utilization.
  • Support the creation of action plans based on analytics, audit findings, and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in business process analysis, documentation, and governance required.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and governing SOPs and policies required.
  • Familiarity with structured process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, CBAP). Strong preference for Six Sigma Yellow Belt or CBAP certification.
  • Experience with ERP technology preferred. IFS experience a plus.
  • Project management experience supporting cross functional initiatives required.

Travel

This role will travel due to the need for in-person interaction with employees, customers, field partners, and/or business stakeholders. Travel may include local, regional, or national destinations and may be conducted via automobile, air, or other modes of transportation. All travel must be pre-approved in accordance with company policy and conducted in compliance with applicable safety and expense guidelines.

Pay Range

$75,000- $85,000 annually - Pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Not all positions posted will have a pay range listed.
