Job Summary:Project Managers provide project/program management for various maintenance scopes of work. The Project Manager develops and implement the overall project plan for design, manufacturing, and installation within budget and acceptable gross margins. This individual works closely with the local municipalities, the client, Supply Chain, Art, and Engineering departments. Daily duties include scheduling Field Partners (subcontractors) for trips to the job site, following up on various paperwork, preparing customer proposals, and updating the customer every step of the way.  Manage to set expectation and project SLA’s. Project Managers must exercise judgment in their daily duties, deciding how to handle each situation and move each work order forward within loosely defined parameters. Provides quality customer service by ensuring that all clients’ service needs are being met in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for independently managing the life cycle of manufacturing/installation robust scopes of work.
  • Travel to client location as Stratus representation as required.
  • Life cycle of a project includes but are not limited to scope of work development, project planning and project execution
  • Evaluate city/municipality allowances/restrictions to build scope of work and graphics requests as required.
  • Develop scope of work, budget, and pricing parameters for clients.
  • Vet and procure Field Partners utilizing proprietary software for the scope of work and budget parameters
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to make sure work has been completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure client satisfaction.  Must meet customer SLA expectations. 
  • Once projects are completed, process work orders to be invoiced to the client.  This includes following up with Field Partners for various paperwork and itemizing the charges.
  • Handle emergency situations as they arise and provide immediate service as needed.
  • Ensure orders are fully documented and closed out per expectation.
  • Use proprietary ERP system and required client third-party program to track and manage ALL statuses, dates, details are up to date.
  • Follow all division and enterprise policies and procedures. 
  • Miscellaneous tasks and special projects required

Qualifications

Skills

  • Handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, and be skilled in writing reports and correspondence.
  • Effectively present proactive information and responds to emails/calls in a timely manner with urgency.
  • Problem-solving, research, quality control of activities described above
  • Experience working with landlords and city officials. 
  • Willingness to assist others within the department to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate with other internal departments well including Cost Management Group, Field Partner Management Group, and Graphics.
  • Ability to prioritize jobs based on urgency, customer expectations, importance
  • Ability to maintain calm and focus under stressful / multi-tasking environment

Education, experience, certifications

  • 1 - 3 years of similar project management experience is required.
  • Specific experience signage, electrical, lighting is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred including Business or Project Management; other relevant areas of study include Engineering, Architecture and Design.
  • Computer skills, fluent in word processing, database and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Office Products)
  • Experience using computer-based project tracking systems to monitor project status

Working Conditions

  • The primary work environment this position encounters includes the conditions found within a general office. 

Pay Range

$50,000- $55,000 annually - Pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Not all positions posted will have a pay range listed.
