Job Summary:Responsible for timely and accurate processing of all customer payments and bank deposit. In addition, this position will assist others within the department on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

  • Application of customer deposits and maintain deposit log
  • Provide support in the application of customer payments
  • Process and apply customer credit card payments
  • Provide support in the daily/monthly AR closing process
  • Obtain invoice status updates from customer 3rd party platforms
  • Provide support for payment remittance research
  • Respond to COI requests from customers and others within the organization
  • Maintain current COI file to minimize duplications
  • Customer statement requests
  • Provide support in the processing of credit memos
  • Communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Assist others in department as needed.

  • Must be a self-starter
  • Computer/typing skills – Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet internal and external customer deadlines
  • Handle stress of high-pressure deadlines
  • Accounting knowledge

Education, experience, certifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on accounts receivable.

Physical and mental demands

  • Lifting maximum of 50 lbs.

Working Conditions (if applicable)

  • Prolonged hours in front of computer
  • Prolonged hours sitting at desk
