The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $86,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key liaison between the Accounting team and Program Management, analyzing and managing profit margins and job costs to meet company goals.
  • Conduct monthly job cost margin analyses by Segment/Offering and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable trends and follow up on variances.
  • Manage open subcontractor purchase orders and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Investigate and correct unfavorable variances in financial performance.
  • Review and address issues related to inventory aging by customer (e.g., shipped-not-billed, finished goods, service inventory).
  • Track and report on weekly billing and revenue objectives.
  • Perform forecast modeling and variance analysis to support planning and forecasting efforts.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT, HR, etc.) to drive business improvements and support special projects.
  • Conduct data discovery, analysis, and modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • Audit annual physical inventory counts and support the preparation of audit reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and responsiveness to internal and external client needs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent education and experience) is required.

 Experience:

  • 4+ years of business experience, with coursework or a minor in accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience with financial enterprise systems or project tracking tools is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is required.
