Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our warehouse. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 7 staff members, including warehouse planners, pickers, and material handlers, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records using our proprietary ERP system and overseeing the safe operation of both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of 7 warehouse employees, fostering a culture of efficiency, safety, and teamwork.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels using the company's proprietary ERP system, ensuring efficient tracking, receiving, and distribution of materials.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee picking, packing, and material handling activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Forklift Operations: Ensure safe and effective use of stand-up and sit-down forklifts, enforcing compliance with safety regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement best practices for warehouse organization, workflow, and productivity.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment, enforcing proper safety protocols and training programs.
  • Coordination & Communication: Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with overall company objectives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or signage industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing warehouse staff.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for inventory management; experience with proprietary systems is a plus.
  • Ability to operate and oversee the use of stand-up and sit-down forklifts; forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in warehouse safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
