Overview

Job Summary: A primary role of the Customer Service Associate is to process inquiries sent to the division’s centralized order distribution system.  This includes order creation, uploading files, and verifying the preliminary information submitted by the customer.  Provides an outstanding level of customer service to internal and external customers in conjunction with customer KPI’s in an accurate, timely, efficient and professional manner. Displays a welcoming disposition and reinforces the ease of conducting business with our organization.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming service requests and create work orders based on standardized timing expectations while exercising a high level of customer service
  • Review and route communications to the appropriate person(s)/departments
  • Update work orders with approvals and rejections
  • Research the incoming request, verify address, duplications, and warranty history
  • Utilize Third Party Work Order Management System
  • Prioritize emergency and urgent requests based on customer’s KPI
  • Assist with special projects/tasks as necessary
  • Other assignments at discretion of the department manager

Skills:

  • A confident, friendly, and professional
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously on assigned tasks
  • Able to quickly learn new programs
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
  • Well-versed in email etiquette and business communication
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Driven by daily performance goals
  • Typing 50+ words per minute

Education, experience, certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college experience preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in an office environment
