CNC Programmer is an essential part of the manufacturing process creating program files for use in cutting matal and plastic parts on CNC routers and waterjet tables.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the programming of signage parts, utilizing CNC software; work ranges from producing simple small signage, to fabrication of complex sign assemblies.
  • Read and calculate department job ticket(s) information; follow specific fabrication instructions as indicated by Work Orders or Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.
  • Prepare files for routing on CNC Router.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1-2 years industry Operator experience in Signage Industry.
  • Pre-production File Prep; Mid-level of experience with Corel Draw, Flexi, and Enroute
  • Must be able to effectively prepare and troubleshoot a variety of file formats
  • Experience with running CNC router tables is preferred but it is more important to have a candidate demonstrating a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
