Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist VP of Manufacturing (and others) in:
• Proper Training
• Efficient Workflow
• Personnel issues
• Order questions
• Quality issues and concerns
• Inventory Tracking
• Work with VP of Manufacturing to schedule the job tracking report to include accurate throughput dates for each job in the respective departments.
• Evaluate production reports times versus the hours in the bill of materials and calculate job labor efficiencies

Skills

• Experienced in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be able to adapt to changing needs and make quick, accurate decisions
• Previous experience in a supervisory role in a printing production setting required.
• Strong knowledge of EFI, Digitech and/or Gandy digital (signage) printing a plus; but not required. This is roll-to-roll acrylic or poly to aluminum; and poly carbonate thermo, using UV cured inks.
• Familiarity with printing operations and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Education, experience, certifications

• Extensive manufacturing supervisory experience is required, second shift experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a printing environment
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Experience in the sign industry a plus

Physical and mental demands

• Time will be split between the shop floor and the office, with majority of time being spent on the shop floor
