Overview

Coordinate the utility rebates for energy projects/programs from inception to completion, by collaborating with internal and external resources. Will work under the supervision of the Energy Incentive Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Research and interpret utility requirements, deadlines, and processes within rebate program guidelines to qualify potential incentive/rebate opportunities.
  • Quantify and capture all potential rebate amounts for each unique program/project based on existing and proposed lighting specifications.
  • Analyze utility requirements for project specifications to ensure compliance. Make suggestions on alternatives to maximize incentive opportunities.
  • Communicate findings to appropriate Stratus personnel via email and Excel reporting.
  • Coordinate with Stratus personnel in obtaining required documentation from internal and external customers as needed.
  • Process incentive applications timely and accurately.
  • Liaise between utility providers and appropriate customer contacts to schedule pre-approval audits and post-installation inspections as needed.
  • Communicate all utility pre-approvals and completion requirements via email and Excel reporting to appropriate Stratus personnel.
  • Manage incentive applications to ensure utility deadlines are met and all required application documents are received.
  • Report received rebate checks with Stratus Accounting personnel, Account Managers, or customers as needed.
  • Work with 3rd party resources for incentive estimates and applications as needed.
  • Administer and maintain all digital files and information pertaining to rebate applications.
  • Communicate industry related knowledge and program updates to the team.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Perform various administrative duties in support of the Energy Services Team
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solving, research, quality control of activities described above

Qualifications

 

Skills

  • Computer Skills:  Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio

Education, experience, certifications

  • High-school graduate or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Arts Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of research-related administrative experience preferred
  • Lighting, electrical, or energy services knowledge preferred

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Travel no more than 10%
  • Position may require working outside of regularly scheduled hours as business needs arise

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in front of a computer for a prolonged period of time
